The Sonic Boom Race supports women in cycling by pairing riders from the professional women’s team Primal/MapMyRIDE with beginner racers in an on-course clinic prior to the Category 4 women’s race.
The professional athletes will mentor and teach beginner racers for 15 minutes on the course and then pull off and allow the beginners to race for the win with newfound skills.
